Premier League giants Liverpool are leading the race to sign Ghana international Antoine Semenyo, AfricaSoccer.com has reported.
Despite attracting several interest in the summer, the Black Stars attacker opted to sign a new deal, keeping him at the Cherries until 2030.
Semenyo was as a top transfer target for Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window, with Bournemouth rebuffing all summer offers for the attacker.
Bournemouth is bracing themselves for a fresh wave of bids for the Ghana international as the winter window approaches.
Per reports, the Premier League giants are closely monitoring Semenyo, establishing contact with the attacker over a possible transfer.
Liverpool are seriously working around the clock to lure the in-form Ghana international to Anfield, with his valuation in January expected to range between £90 and £100 million. Meanwhile, his valuation could drop to around £70 million next summer.
Currently, Bournemouth holds all the cards on the forward’s future after recently signing a new deal at the club. With no release clause in his current contract, clubs who are interested in the former Bristol City will have to meet Bournemouth’s terms.
However, the managing director of the Premier league outfit has ruled out Semenyo sale, saying he will be leaving in the foreseeable future.
The Cherries are determined to keep the former Bristol City marksman at the club, viewing him as a valuable asset to the club’s project.
Semenyo has been outstanding since the commencement of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, scoring six goals and providing three assists in seven appearances.
