Mr. Christopher Osei Sarfo, former NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Effiduase Asokore and member of Ashanti Regional Campaign Team, has called on the rank and file of the party to prioritise unity above individual parochial interest, ahead of the upcoming general elections to ensure a resounding victory for the party.
He entreated all supporters to remain united to win the 2024 election to help rescue the country from the current economic mess by the Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government, over the last seven years.
According to him, as the general elections draw closer, there is the need for members of the party at all levels, from branches to national, to bury their differences for a common goal of wrestling political power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to reset the economy for the Ghana we all want.
He noted that the NPP as a party is aware that it has performed abysmally in terms of the socio-economic development but would not hand over power to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on a silver platter, hence the need to make strenuous efforts to intensify their campaign strategies and to make the victory a mere formality in the December elections.
The former Parliamentary Candidate donated ten motorbikes to the regional campaign team, through the Regional Organiser Isham Alhassan, to ensure effective and efficient campaign to canvas for votes in the region.
He also promised to support the Effiduase-Asokore constituency with logistics and mobile phones to members of the campaign team to enhance access to information before, during and after the elections.
