Multiple award-winning Artiste, Kofi Kinaata has finally released his much anticipated 7 track Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Kofi OO Kofi.’
Released today, Friday 10th May on all digital stores online, the ‘Susuka’ hitmaker who is known for releasing singles said in an earlier discussion with The Chronicle that; “as my first body of work, I felt free to talk about the subjects that are dear to me so I was not under any pressure when working on this.”
The first song on the EP, titled ‘Auntie Ama’ was produced by OT Woode. According to Kofi Kinaata, it is a song that gets him very emotional since it talks about his childhood days. The second song on the EP, which was produced by Two Bars, Kofi Kinaata’s inhouse Sound Engineer is ‘Abonsam.’
The rest of the songs are, ‘Saman,’ produced by OT Woode, ‘Effiakuma Broken Heart’ produced Elorm Beatz, ‘I don’t care,’ produced by Two Bars and Abochi, ‘Take Away,’ by Tubani Muzik and Klassik Beatz’ and ‘Overthinking’ by Abochi and Skonti.
According to Kofi Kinaata, this body of work will give good music lovers the chance to have various subjects to mull over with.
Kofi Kinaata is confident the EP will make the maximum impact that he desires.
Already, there are rave ratings of the EP by the industry players who have hailed Kofi Kinaata’s incredible skills in telling stories via music.
Ahead of the release, Kofi Kinaata met with industry players at the Accra City Hotel to give them earlier listening of the EP.
At the meeting, various ideas were shared on how to go about the promotion and also the latest trends in getting works out.
