Aduana Stars failed to secure a back-to-back win over King Faisal to extend their lead on top of the Ghana Premier League table after a scoreless draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
King Faisal managed to hold the league leaders to a 0-0 draw in their match-week 19 encounter on Wednesday afternoon.
King Faisal could have opened the score via a spot-kick but the penalty awarded to the ‘Isha Allah’ lads on the 35th minute was squandered by Samuel Adom Antwi.
Aduana Stars kept their hopes of getting the lead through Isaac Mintah but his strike on the 40th minute was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu.
In the second half, Aduana Stars enjoyed majority of the game possession with most of the goal glaring opportunities falling for them but they failed to make them count
Substitute Zakaria Mumuni came close to open the score for Aduana Stars on the 87th minute but his strike was denied once again by Asiedu.
