Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome an in-form Napoli to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night for what should be a fascinating affair.
After their Champions League exit Luciano Spalletti will need to raise his players moral. The defeat to Milan at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Tuesday was a bitter blow for Napoli. They will surely still go on to claim the Scudetto this season but Juventus are still chasing a top four finish and will not be thinking of making things easy for their visitors on Sunday.
Maxi Allegri’s side has lost ground on the European places in the last two weeks, with back-to-back defeats to Lazio and Sassuolo. They desperately need a win now to ensure that Atalanta doesn’t extend the points gap further.
The final decision on the 15 points deducted earlier in the season could still be a way off and Juventus will want to do as much as possible to give themselves a chance of playing in the Champions League next season.
