Actor cum Politician, John Dumelo has promised to walk barefoot from Ayawaso West Wuogon to Presbyterian Boys Senior High School premises if his alma matter, Achimota loses to the former in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NMSQ) finals.
With Opoku Ware School, Presec Legon and Achomota School heading to the finals to battle it out, the Actor who is contesting for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament Constituency on the ticket of National Democratic Congress (NDC), is rooting for his school to win.
The highly anticipated finale has caused quite a stir online as former students of the competing schools, battle it out online and claim supremacy.
According to John Dumelo, should Presec win, he’ll walk barefoot backwards from Ayawaso West Wuogon to Presec school.
“I am a proud Achimotan but If Presec wins the #NSMQ2023 on the 31st I will walk barefoot backwards from Ayawaso West Wuogon to presec school! They can’t win over Motown! Presec? Tweeeaa!!!,” he tweeted Sunday, October 22, 2023.
All three schools in the finale have been winners before; Presec, the current titleholders are hoping to secure their crown.
