Ghanaian stars, Actor turned politician John Dumelo and political activist, Kwame A Plus were amongst the recent graduates of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration’s (GIMPA) 22nd congregation of the Institution which was held at the school’s premises in Accra.
John Dumelo, who now boasts of a second Master’s Degree, took to Twitter to express: “Another masters degree bagged. Praise God …..#Gimpa #idey4u.”
Apart from his successful graduation, his footwear, a wellington boot, has caught the attention of his followers. Although he has not come up with the reason behind his wellington boot for graduation, many have expressed that he did that to send a message of his farming background.
In an earlier post on Facebook, he distributed some farm tools to farmers with the caption; “The distribution of free farm boots and cutlasses to farmers across the Guan district has commenced.”
“I hope to reach every farmer soon. The next step would be to provide efficient farming equipment to maximize and add value to what they grow. #melinami #letsmakeGuanGreat.”
Kwame A Plus on the other hand was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from GIMPA. He graduated with a second class upper (honors).
John Dumelo and Kwame A Plus join the list of Ghanaian celebrities including Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker among others who have gone back to school.
