Renowned Gospel Artiste, Esther Smith, has disclosed that not for the saving grace of God, Ghanaians would have been celebrating her memory.
The ‘Onyame ben ni’ crooner who is currently residing in Germany said she survived an unidentified illness that nearly took her life.
In a viral video, Esther Smith was captured singing gospel songs while dishing herself fufu with light soup.
According to the Artiste, she would have died in the year 2019 not for the Grace of God, the reason she should be enjoying herself.
The happy Singer whilst in the kitchen said “In 2019, I almost died. I have got myself some goat meat with some soup and fufu, I need to be happy,” she said.
After her marriage to Reverend Ahenka hit the rocks, the multiple award-winning Gospel singer re-married in 2015.
Some of her popular songs are‘Nipa,’‘Ma Won San,’‘Onyame Boafo,’ and others. She started singing at a tender age of 14 when she joined the Tesano Methodist Church.
She has won various awards like the Gospel Album of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year and Best Female Vocal Performance of the Year in 2003 at the Ghana Music Awards.
