Songbird Efya has disclosed that she has changed her management team, a decision she made post COVID pandemic.
In an on 3FM, the ‘Female Vocal Artiste of the year’ winner for more than three times who was signed onto ONE NATION Entertainment shared personal insights into her decision to change labels and embark on a journey of self-reinvention by starting her own label.
“Also I’ve been working for 15 years without break and in between these times I’ve performing on all the shows and still representing and after COVID I changed labels so I had to get myself in ground again so I started my own label,” she mentioned.
She, however failed to disclose the name of the label, mentioning that in due time, her fans will know about the label and all there is to know.
Even though the Artiste has been quiet for sometime now, many people did not suspect that she is leaving or have left the label which sustained her career for years.
Efya’s new label is set to showcase her talents and dedication to a new crop of audience and will take charge of her marketing, partnerships and distribution deals, she reveals.
Efya joins colleague Artistes like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Mr Eazi who have all established their own record labels.
