I have a lot of self-confidence -VfL Bochum’s Christopher Antwi-Adjei

The 28-year-old wing-forward has so far enjoyed a breakthrough season with the German top-flight side, with the 1.74m tall winger in fine form under new boss Thomas Letsch.

Ghana international winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei believes he is currently living up to expectations with Bundesliga side VfL Bochum after making three assists in his side’s 5-2 drubbing of Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The former SC Paderbone man has been enjoying great outings under new manager Thomas Letsch this season, with the attacking winger revealing the 54-year-old gaffer tasked him to ”use his strength courageously and go into dribbling with speed,” in slugging out with opponents on the field of play.

And now, Antwi has been left reflecting on his five-star performance against Hoffenheim, telling German tabloid Bild: ”I reviewed the game in peace with my family on the couch in the living room. The cell phone is a bit full after three templates, which makes me happy.”

Antwi has made 14 league appearances, netting 2 and assisting 6 for VfL Bochum in the ongoing Bundesliga football campaign.

The Hagen-born attacking winger has 3 caps for the Black Stars, after switching to represent Ghana.
