‘Friday night’ hitmaker, Lasmid has disclosed that he didn’t complete his secondary education.
The alumnus of Takoradi Technical Institute said he was battling with the interest of doing music and completing his secondary education.
According to Lasmid who has the biggest song in Ghana now, he chose the latter, even though he wrote some mock examinations of the school.
Born Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu, Lasmidalso in the interview with Delay on the Delay Show which was monitored by The Chronicle saidhe was made to repeat one class for three years.
Lasmid revealed that he was made to repeat Primary 6 three times for three years before continuing proceeding to the Junior High School.
Lasmidintimated that he had his primary 6 education at Dunkwa but when he relocated to another town, he was made to repeat the same class and when he finally relocated to stay with his mother at Wassa-Akropong, he was made to repeat class 6 again.
After going through the class 6 treadmill encounter, he was able to continue his education and graduated to the Takoradi Technical Institute but unfortunately, he was unable to complete because he was focused more on his music than his academics.
