Ex-husband of Actress Tonto Dikeh, Businessman Olakunle Churchill has expressed gratitude to the Nollywood Actress, for allowing their son, King Andre, to reconnect with him after months of separation.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Churchill revealed that his son recently called him for the first time in months and addressed him as “Daddy,” a moment he described as emotional and meaningful.
“I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from my son, King Andre, for the first time,” he said. “Hearing him call me ‘Daddy’ was deeply touching and a reminder that what God cannot do does not exist.”
He said the moment showed that healing and understanding had taken place between him and Tonto Dikeh.
“Faith has a way of bringing clarity, humility, and peace,” Churchill stated. “I acknowledge the growth and grace evident in the manner in which this matter has been resolved.”
According to him, forgiveness has helped both parents move forward.
“With God leading, healing and understanding have become possible. Forgiveness has paved the way for a new chapter,” he said.
Churchill added that they are now focused on raising their son together in peace.
“We are now focused on co-parenting with love, care, and a shared commitment to raising our son,” he noted.
He also praised Tonto Dikeh for her role in their son’s life.
“I am grateful to have my son back in my life. Thank you to the amazing mother of my son, Tonto Dikeh, for doing a good job,” he said.
Churchill said he is hopeful about the future and committed to maintaining peace and respect for the sake of their child.
“I look forward to a future filled with collaboration, respect, and peace, trusting God to guide me,” he added.
