Ghana-Zimbabwe ties must benefit the peoples -Envoy

His Excellency Kufa E. Chinoza, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Ghana, has stressed the need to strengthen Ghana-Zimbabwe relations for mutual benefits for the two countries.

He said the two countries needed to add value to the existing special relations between them, and forge greater collaboration in the areas of trade, education, tourism and agriculture.

H.E. Chinoza made these observations when Nana Nanabanyin Ninsin-Imbeah II, an elder nephew of the late Amai Sally Frances Mugabe, the Founding First Lady of Zimbabwe, called on him at his office to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Ambassador Chinoza noted that the establishment of the Headquarters of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) provides a great opportunity for Ghana and Zimbabwe to champion their economic aspirations.

Nana Nanabanyin Ninsin-Imbeah II, who is also the National Chairman of the Ghana Highway Authority Retired Staff Association (GHARSA), said the bond between the two countries, from longstanding and strong bilateral ties, must be sustained within the African region, and the international community of nations, for the people of the two countries.
