Ghana Gas CEO holds high level meetings with Gas Off-Takers

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana National Gas Company Limited Company (Ghana Gas), Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, has held high level meetings with Gas off-Takers in Tema, as part of efforts to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.
The meeting was attended by Executives from Sentuo Ceramic Tile Company Limited, Continental Blue Investment and the West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCO).

The meeting aimed to strengthen partnerships with the gas off-takers with clear intent of ensuring a reliable supply of gas to industries.
In a press statement issued and signed by the Head of Communication, Ernest Kirk Mensah, said during the meeting the Ghana Gas CEO explored opportunities for improved cooperation, discussed ways to enhance business relations and strengthen gas transportation networks.

Ghana Gas CEO was quoted as having emphasised the importance of operational efficiency across the region, recognising its impact on Ghana’s economic growth.
Ms. Blay later met with key executives from Sentuo Oil Refinery Limited, including Sentuo Group Chairman, Mr. Ningquan Xu, to discuss Ghana Gas’ vital role in supporting downstream refining operations.

According to the statement, she reaffirmed the strong partnership between Ghana Gas and the Volta River Authority (VRA) in advancing reliable power generation and ensuring energy sustainability.
In line with the government’s focus on building a 24-hour economy, Ms. Blay disclosed  that government had shifted its focus to Gas for industrialization, aligning with its agenda for economic transformation.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Tema Regulating and Metering Station (TRMS), where Ms Blay commended the staff for their hard work and dedication, recognising the station’s key contribution to maintaining the stability and security of Ghana’s energy supply.
