Ghanaian music duo based in Ghana and US, Flava n Fugeez, popularly known as F&F have been nominated in the Ghana Music Awards, USA.
This is the first nomination of the duo who have been churning out hit songs for over a decade.
Their widely played song, ‘Sika,’ produced by SimpsOnDaBeatz earned them their nominations at Ghana Music Awards USA.
Reacting to the nomination, F&F told The Chronicle that, “we are happy are works are not only recognized in Ghana, but those in diaspora also appreciate them. This is a song that many people can relate to.”
“Those who heard the song for the first time even called to commend us for speaking the truth and encouraging others as well. We feel privileged that this song that has made impact in Ghana has also traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to also make impact, we feel really honoured,” F&F said.
In their opinion, the categories that their single ‘Sika’ has been nominated in even though makes it competitive, they are very sure of winning them.
“We appreciate the other works of the Artistes nominated in those categories that ‘Sika’ is in, we are very confident of winning them,” F&F expressed confidence.
