Erik ten Hag will be in attendance for Man United’s final game at Crystal Palace

Erik ten Hag will be casting a watchful over his incoming Manchester United squad on Sunday, with the imminent Red Devils boss set to attend their final game of the season at Crystal Palace.

Ten Hag will officially begin his role in the Old Trafford hotseat on Monday but is already plotting ahead and will use Sunday as a chance to gleam more of an understanding of the players he will inherit.

Despite his attendance at Selhurst Park, Ten Hag will have no involvement in team matters – with outgoing interim boss Ralf Rangnick leading that. As detailed by Sportsmail, the 52-year-old has landed in London as his Manchester United revolution gathers pace. Long-term assistant Mitchell van der Gaag has arrived with Ten Hag, with the club set to confirm his position as new No 2.

The two Dutchmen arrived in the capital via private jet on Wednesday afternoon. The pair have been working from Holland prior to their arrival in London.

The new United coaching duo are expected to hold a meeting with colleagues over the next 24 hours.
