Isaac Owusu, CEO of Western Pharmacy

Mr. Isaac Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer of Western Pharmacy Ltd, as the Guest of Honour urged the Command to help consolidate our democratic credentials and maintain its place as a beacon of Democracy in Africa.

He said the loyalty of the military and other security services is commendable and urged them to keep it up to provide a secure environment for the nation and the citizenry.

He reminded them about the fight against illegal mining (galamsey) because the devastating effects on water bodies, forest cover and farmlands are deadly.

The CEO entreated the Command to instil patriotism in soldiers deployed to fight illegal mining to save the country.

According to him, their loyalty must be to the state and not individual miners and avoid being enticed by token thrown in order to ensure the security of the country.

He commended efforts by some soldiers in the fight against illegal mining   and entreated the Command to keep the few bad nuts in check to maintain their hard earned and enviable reputation.
