The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly in the Bono region has honoured one of its members, Mr Atta Kofi Awuni, for dedication to assembly duties.
Mr Awuni, who is assembly member for the Nkyenkyenkye electoral area, in the Dormaa municipality, received a citation during the assembly’s general meeting.
The Municipal Chief executive for the area, Drissah Quattarah, commended the assembly member for his dedication to work and called on his colleagues to do the same to develop the community.
Mr Awuni thanked the assembly for the honour done to him and pledged to continue to serve the people.
The MCE noted that assembly members are key in the day-to-day running of the assembly, therefore, they should work hard towards the assembly’s core objectives and mission.
