Richard Nyarko, Assembly Member for Deduako Apemso, Kodiekrom and Teachers Quarters Electoral Area in the Oforikrom Municipality of Ashanti Region, has donated about 250 pieces of cloth, 200 bags of rice, oil, and 200 tins of Mackerel to widows and the aged in the area.
Mr. Richard Nyarko also donated two driers and two sewing machines to apprentices to support their vocation.
The gesture was his personal contribution towards improving the living standards of the constituents.
The Assembly Member also provided 50 street light bulbs to help reduce criminal activities in the electoral area.
Mr. Nyarko further presented 10 computers to one of the basic schools in the area following an appeal to him to enhance the study of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The Headmistress of the beneficiary school, Mrs. Margret Amoako, and the recipients in the electoral area expressed their profound gratitude to Mr. Nyarko for the support.
