The President’s nominee for the position of District Chief Executive for Pru East, in the Bono East region, Mr. Haruna Mohammed, has been confirmed by assembly members, following the revocation of his predecessor, Alhaji Adams Abdulai’s appointment.
He secured 22 yes votes, which represented 100%. Mr. Haruna Mohammed, until his appointment, was the Pru East Constituency Secretary.
The Bono East Regional Minister, Mr. Kwasi Adu-Gyan applauded the members for the smooth process and urged the DCE to be fair to all and sundry in the discharge of his duty, to bring development to the district.
In his acceptance speech, Mr Haruna thanked everyone who made it possible and promised to work tirelessly for the betterment of the district.
