Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has celebrated his colleague, Tems, after she won the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2.
Taking to X in the early hours of Monday, the award-winning singer congratulated Tems on her second Grammy victory.
Davido expressed his admiration and pride in Tems victory writing: “Congratulations to my one and only! #chrisbrown! And to the Queen @temsbaby, we are proud of you!”
Tems secured the Best African Music Performance category award over strong competitors, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Burna Boy, and Davido.
Tems secured the Grammy with her hit song ‘Love Me Jeje,’ marking her second win after previously earning a Grammy for her contribution to Future’s chart-topping single ‘Wait For U’ in 2023.
The 67th Grammy Awards took place on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
