The Chairman of the Council of State, Dasebre Otuo Siribour II, who doubles as the Chief of Asante Juaben, has urged Ghanaians to uphold peace, as the country gears up for elections on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
According to Otuo Siribour II, elections are about individual choices and this must be tolerated by all and sundry.
He added that differences in political inclination should not transcend into violence or anything untoward, emphasising the need to embrace tolerance and respect peoples’ opinion.
He made these assertions at the 38th Annual General Meeting of Juaben Rural Bank Plc., at Asante Juaben over the weekend.
The paramount chief of Juaben was emphatic that tolerance promotes peaceful co-existence, hence Ghanaians should embrace peace and desist from any act that could lead to chaos before, during and after the polls.
