Parliamentary Candidate for Subin constituency, Lawyer Kofi Obiri Yeboah last Saturday cut the sod for the construction of an Astroturf at Asem Cluster of schools Park for Subin constituents.
Mr. Solomon Lamptey of Wembley Construction Sports Company Limited, executing the project, has promised to complete the project in six months time.
Lawyer Obiri Yeboah said at the sod cutting ceremony that the proposed Astroturf project is part of efforts to give Subin constituency a befitting facelift.
The aspirant promised to provide three more Astroturfs for the constituency if he is given the nod in next Saturday’s primaries, to represent Subin constituents in Parliament.
He reiterated the promise to establish a GH¢700,000 Subin Co-operative Fund to offer loan facilities to constituents at no interest.
He has already provided a 33-seater bus for the Constituency Secretariat for their travels and called on the delegates to vote massively for him to ensure total change in the Subin constituency.
Otumfuo’s Mmamensenhen, Nana Osei Kwadwo, who graced the occasion called on delegates to support the bid of the aspirant.
At the sod cutting ceremony were Moslem community leaders, chiefs, Queen mothers and all the Assembly members from Subin constituency.
