Ghanaians have been advised to eschew laziness and work hard in truth and honesty to attract God’s reward in their services. The youth, in particular, have also been urged to be more religious to maintain sanity in our communities.
The advice was given by Elder Dr. Nana Kwadwo Gyasi Ekooba Simprimu, when he chaired an awards ceremony to reward hard working Ghanaians and other nationals who have contributed to the development of the country.
Bombisco Multimedia, a media organisation, organised the awards ceremony and said that “the awards scheme is for deserving and hard working Ghanaians for their various roles in the country’s development, and some foreign nationals who are contributing immensely in the country’s development.”
Bombisco Multimedia used the occasion to launch its new news magazine dubbed “Icons and Legends of Ghana.”
The news magazine is to be circulated throughout the country to recognise hardworking Ghanaians and encourage the youth to emulate them. Some of the dignitaries present at the ceremony pledged to support the printing of the magazine.
Elder Nana Kwadwo Gyasi Ekooba Simpremu pledged to print 1,000 copies, Mr. Randolph Obeng-Frimpong, 400 copies, Dr. Kwame Kyei, 300 copies, Mr. Osmani Aludiba, 200 copies and Mr. Yaw Gyamfi, 200 copies.
The foreign nationals present also promised to help in the printing of the news magazine.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bombisco Multimedia, Mr. Isaac Asare, used the opportunity to advise the youth to be hardworking, and also take advantage of every situation they find themselves in.
