
BlowChem Industries Limited, a leading Ghanaian manufacturer of bottled water and beverages, has donated 15,000 assorted drinks to support the final funeral rites (Dote Yie) of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, currently underway in Kumasi.
The donation comprised 7,500 bottles of Bel Aqua Mineral Water and 8,000 assorted beverages, including some of the company’s popular products such as Bel Cola, Bel Ice, Squeeze Orange, Bel Malt, Tropical and Tamarinda.
Leading the delegation from BlowChem Industries to the Manhyia Palace were the Ashanti Regional Branch Manager, Mr. Benjamin Nsiah and the Ashanti Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Alex Muah Blankson.
Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr. Alex Muah Blankson expressed the company’s pride in contributing to such a significant cultural occasion.
He noted that this was not the first time BlowChem Industries had supported the Manhyia Palace, emphasising the strong relationship between the company and the Ashanti Region.
“Our unwavering support and the consistent patronage from the people of Ashanti have been instrumental in driving the growth and success of Bel products across the market,” Mr. Alex Muah Blankson stated.
Mr. Nsiah also reaffirmed BlowChem’s deep ties with the Ashanti Kingdom, describing the donation as a reflection of the company’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and fostering community solidarity.
“BlowChem’s contribution has been hailed as an act of respect and tradition,” he added.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Palace, Otumfuo Ankobeahene, Nana Kwame Kusi II, expressed profound gratitude to BlowChem Industries for their generosity and ongoing support.
