With independent announcements, October 2020 will witness the release of albums than any month in the history of Ghanaian music as most Artistes are ready to release a body of studio works for fans.
So far, four Ghanaian music stars have confirmed the release of their albums. They include Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, Amerado and Wendy Shay.
Sensational Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif broke the internet when he announced the release of his debut album; ‘The Villian I Never Was.’The ‘Soja’ hitmaker has announced that the project will be released on Thursday October 6, 2022 across various streaming platforms.
Black Sherif wrote; “It took me everything to give life to this body. The one thing in my life that I gave everything up for. There is life in this body, I hope it treats you good and speaks to you like I want it to.My debut album, “The Villain I Never Was” Available on all stores on October 6, 2022.Thank you, Love you.”
While performing at the Summer Stage Festival in New York, Shatta Wale announced the release of his much-anticipated ‘Gift of God Album.’
The studio work according to the Dancehall King is set for release on Monday, October 17, 2022.
After the release of‘Survivor’ and ‘Warning,’Singer Wendy Asiamah Addo, known in showbiz as Wendy Shay will release an Extended Play titled ‘Enigma’ on Friday October 21, 2022. She announced the release date by sharing photos of herself in customized Enigma apparel. s
Rapper Amerado has also advertised Tuesday October 25, 2022 as the date to watch out for the much anticipated ‘G.I.N.A’ album. Amerado took to social media to announce the release of the album and explained that the acronym G.I.N.A stands for “God Is Never Asleep.”
