Bechem United shoot down high flying Nations FC

Bechem United secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Nations FC in a highly anticipated top-four battle at the Nana Gyeabour Park yesterday afternoon.

Isaiah Nyarko opened the scoring in the 27th minute, giving the home side the lead, before Emmanuel Abban sealed the win with a late strike in the 84th minute.

Bechem’s dominance was reflected in their control of possession and chances created.

The victory moves Bechem United up to fifth in the league standings, just two points behind Nations FC, who remain in fourth place.

Bechem now prepare for a local derby against Aduana Stars in Dormaa, while Nations will return home to face Young Apostles, after securing only one win from their back-to-back away fixtures.

This result underlines Bechem United’s determination to push for a top-four finish as the season intensifies.
