The Battor Citizens Development Association (BACIDA), an incorporated group (Registration Number CG 068541024, Companies Act, 2019, Act 992), with the primary objective of uniting all natives of Battor for accelerated development, says it is thrilled at the news and wishes to congratulate the Foreign Affairs Minister designate, Samuel Okujeto Ablakwa, on his deserved appointment as Foreign Minister.
In a statement signed by Bright Segbefia (EX W.O 1), President of BACIDA, the group said: “Indeed, your elevation to this position, the first ever MP from any of the three Tongu constituencies, is an attestation of your publicly acknowledged hardwork, admirable unrelenting anti-graft crusade, illustrative patriotism, meaningful contributions to debates on the floor of Parliament and your bravery in the interest of Ghana, even at the peril of your precious life, with reported threats to you.
“It is the firmest belief of BACIDA that the endless reservoir of experience you have will enable you to put up a performance at your new post to not only help your appointor, HE John Dramani Mahama, to achieve his expectations of you, but also it will be a positive springboard to a higher height for Ghana in particular and humanity at large.
