Mr. Yaw Amponsah Marfo, Yesu Dea (popularly known as Agya Wiase) stands as a distinguished figure in Ghana’s business landscape, philanthropy, and dedication leading the charge as the Chief Executive Officer of V.I.P. Jeoun Transport Service, the largest privately-owned road transport company in the nation with over 300 employees. Born and raised in the vibrant community of Asante-Mampong, Mr. Amponsah Marfo embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic efforts often focus on charity, donations and caring for individuals of Asanteman.
Charity and Donations of Mr Yaw Amponsah Marfo, Yesu Dea (aka Agya Wiase)
Key philanthropy and donations by Mr Yaw Amponsah Marfo, Yesu Dea, a.k.a. Agya Wiase as one of the award winners made history by single-handedly building a police station with a bungalow for the Asaam District Command, near Asante-Mampong.
The Chief Executive officer of Yesu Dea Transport, Yaw Amponsah Marfo, also gave the command a brand new Nissan Navara pick-up vehicle and two motorbikes. The Police Administration describes the gesture as unprecedented by an individual in the history of the Ghana Police Service.
Other significant goods and charity of Agya Wiase include:
- Built completely and furnished a brand-new office with staff quarters to the recently created Asante North Police headquarters situated in Asante Mampong.
- Built completely and furnished a brand-new office for Asante Mampong Immigration Office.
- Donated a High Occupancy Bus to the Asante Mampong Traditional Council.
- Donated a Toyota Hiace Minibus to the Asante Regional House Chiefs.
- Donated a High Occupancy bus to the Northern Regional House of Chiefs in Tamale.
- Donated a High Occupancy Bus to the Upper East Children’s Home in Bolgatanga.
- Donates generously to widows and orphanages every year during Christmas and the New Years, including but not limited to Asante Mampong, Yendi, Bolgatanga, Sefwi Wiaso in recent times and may donate same to widows in the Eastern Region in 2024.
- Build and donates to Pentecostal Churches.
