Apostle Kwadwo Safo donates to Kumasi Children’s Home, Institutions to mark birthday

The founder and leader of Kristo Asafo Mission, also known as Christ Reformed Church, Apostle Dr. Engineer Kwadwo Safo, has donated 25 mini bags of maize, 22bags of rice, six cartons of milk, 60 pieces of GTP wax clothes, 400 Sachet water, assorted soaps, provisions, sacks of gari and a ram amounting to GHC80,000 to the Kumasi Children’s Home.

The renowned Ghanaian Pastor and Industrialist also presented cash in the sum of GHc20,000 to the inmates.

Apostle Kwadwo Safo has also donated 1,700 GTP Wax prints to the people of Esumeja and other institutions.

The beneficiary Institutions included health centres, Bekwai Municipality police command, Kumasi Prisons, Friends of Apostle Safo, widows, traditional leaders and members of his Aduana royal family at Essumeja, his hometown.

At the Kumasi Central prison, the philanthropist provided funds for the clearance of 20 inmates who had been released from prison. The gesture formed part of activities to mark the 77th birthday of the celebrated scientist and entrepreneur.

The Special Aide to Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, Lawyer Owusu Badu, who made the presentations on behalf of the leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission described Apostle Safo as an agent for development.

Wax prints for distribution at Essumeja on display

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of Kristo Asafo Mission, Nana Kaakyire Kwabena Adoum disclosed that donation of 300 wax prints was made to mothers at Atonsu Government Hospital.

Mrs Mabel Amponsah, in charge of the Kumasi Children’s Home, expressed appreciation to the KristoAsafo Mission for the wonderful donation.

She appealed to the founder of Kristo Asafo Mission to provide the Home with a new bus to replace the one Apostle Safo presented to the Home years back, which is almost grounded.
