The paramount Chief of Prang Traditional area, in the Bono East Region, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III, has expressed his profound appreciation to the government for ongoing Agenda 111 projects across the country.
The chief, on behalf of his elders, commended the government for vision to implement the Agenda 111, which emanated from the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 to save lives.
Nana Nyarko while addressing the media at his palace at Prang, the Pru District capital described Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vision as a unique policy, which will go a long way to alleviate Ghanaians from any future pandemic.
The Paramount chief commended the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon Stephen Jalula, who also doubles as deputy Minister for Roads, for his efforts at developing the area. According to Nana Nyarko the MP has the credit of initiating a lot of development projects in the constituency.
During a surprise visit to the Agenda 111 project site to acquaint himself with pace of work and challenges, the Omanhene assured the workers on site that he would work to ensure that work on the project resumes.
Nana Nyarko, however, appealed to the government to ensure that contractors are paid to enable them finish the projects.
