The former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, has conceded defeat in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary.
According to him, he has “called the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, to congratulate him” for winning the contest.
He has pledged to help “the new leader” bring discipline to the party, and work towards breaking the 8.
Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission is yet to make an official declaration as collation is still ongoing.
