As part of its social responsibility to communities and people in its areas of operation, Accurate Giants Company has donated fourteen 65 inches HD smart televisions and some cash to fourteen police commanders in the Ashanti South Region.
Speaking at a well attended function to give out the donation, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the company, Mr. Alex Kwofie Hanson, said for the police to perform satisfactorily as an institution it behoved all Ghanaians to support them in cash or in kind.
“Without the police there will be chaos all over the country. Everyone needs the police, but the hard truth is that they are not well resourced, and for that matter, individual citizens, especially entrepreneurs and business people, should take up the challenge to provide them with items like what is taking place here to get them motivated to work,” he stated.
The television sets and the cash, which amounted to GH¢130,000.00, were received on behalf of the commanders by the Ashanti South Region Commander, DCOP Mr. Eric Ken Winful.
In his remarks, the Commander charged Ghanaians working in financial institutions to be careful not to expose other peoples’ monies deposited at their ends to those who are not to know else they would put the lives of such persons in danger.
Nana Akua Dwum II, Queenmother of Edubiase, who graced the occasion, commended the police for doing a yeoman’s job to protect life and property across the length and breadth of the country.
She noted: “For Accurate Giants Company to honour some police personnel is commendable and in the right direction.”
Mr. Francis Addai-Nimoh, who handed over his portfolio as the Board Chairman of the company after two years in office to Dr. Kofi Nkansah, called for co-oporation among the workers and management of the company towards a successful operation in the years ahead.
