Welcome Back, Your Excellency… But Please Beware (1)

Your Excellency,

You are most welcome back and with the words from your speech on January 7, 2025, we believe your term of office will see Ghana rising up.

Your Excellency, every one who triumphs or elevated among men, will suddenly find himself surrounded by all manner of persons. Some will be around with very good and descent intentions, while others will be around, just for selfish desires.

This is not different in your case.

Recently, two so called men of God and a traditional leader were on social media making certain claims.

In a Ghanaweb news on December 23, 2024, Prophet Badu Kobi came out to claim that he went to Ashanti region in the spiritual realm to make sure the NPP supporters just did not come out in their numbers to vote for the party. Then a DailynewsGhana report on January 11, 2025 came with the story that the founder of Kum’s People Party (KPP), Prophet Kumchacha has come out to reveal that he spiritually stopped NPP members from voting.

Your Excellency, please beware of such so-called fake prophets who parade themselves around that they are doing the work of God Almighty. Never trust them, because they do not walk in the Holy Spirit. They are proud, arrogant, attention-seekers who always want to walk in the corridors of power and feel important and acknowledged as such.

Your Excellency, please text the spirits, as all children of God are instructed to do in 1 John 4: 1-3, which reads: “Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can know the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh belongs to God,and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world.”

The likes of prophets Owusu-Bempah, Badu Kobi, Kumchacha, Nigel Gaisie, Kyei-Duah and others always speak with pride and arrogance and these are vices. These qualitiesare not of Christ because the Lord Himself, sometimes do not want to make noise to be made about His miracles. Pride is the source all vices and vices are alien to Christ and Christ-like people.

Did Owusu-Bempah not tell Ghanaians that God said never will you become president again? So, what happened? That was when he elevated himself to presidential prophet during the Nana Addo regime. When he was not getting all that he wanted, he crossed carpet to your side.

Knowing that power was certainly going to exchange hands, due to many obvious factors, Owusu-Bempah and others switched over to you with claims that by their intercession God has now anointed you to be president. Can you imagine, man instructing God?

Your Excellency, please continue worshiping and adoring God in your Assemblies of God Church, the Lord is more alive there than in the auditorium of those fake men of God.

How ridiculous Badu Kobi and Kumchacha, sound! Why did they not tell Ghanaians, before the elections, that they were going to make millions of NPP supporters stay away from the polls? But they came out to prophesy after the event had taken place. This is a very cheap way to seek attention. They are not of the Lord, because the Lord would have made this known before the elections as He did make known every plague before it happened in Egypt.

God answered the prayers of the pure in heart and gave you Ghana. Thank Him in the way, you do when you worship in the Assemblies of God Church. Do seek counsel from the pastors there and other pastors and priests in the GCBC, CCG and GPCC, because God speaks through most of them.

Your Excellency, be guided by the Holy Spirit in all your endeavour.

Recently, Nana Boadi Amponim Abodade III, a traditional leader from Akyem Asuom, came public to say very unpleasant things about Nana Addo. I can only conclude that he also wants to seek attention and catch your eye. Such people who come around and start insulting your opponents to you, will surely do same to you when they do not get what they came for. As an astute politician, you may have experienced what I am saying here.

One interesting thing about this chief is that he is an Akyem, so what prevented him from using his traditional office to guide his own kinsman, Nana Addo, to walk the correct path?

Your Excellency, please beware of these fake prophets and insincere traditional leaders. Stay Blessed!

Hon. Daniel Dugan
