A new landmark is taking shape on the Accra skyline as Globe Tower, a premium Grade A office development within Cantonments City, opens its doors to prospective tenants.

Developed by Goldkey Properties, the tower is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027 and will offer high-end office accommodation, alongside a signature restaurant located on the third floor.

Designed by the acclaimed Magna 5 Group, Globe Tower comprises a columned ground floor and 13 upper storeys, with a contemporary architectural design intended to project stability, professionalism and a strong global corporate identity.

A central atrium featuring a suspended globe forms the architectural centerpiece of the building, symbolising national reach and international ambition. Landscaped terraces and generous glazing have also been incorporated into the design to create light-filled, human-scaled interiors while softening the building’s overall scale.

The tower’s location within Cantonments City places it close to several key institutions and diplomatic missions, including Jubilee House, the Police Headquarters, United Nations offices and the American, Korean and Chinese embassies.

It is also within convenient reach of the Accra International Airport and the Central Business District, making the development potentially attractive to multinational corporations, financial institutions, professional services firms and other organisations seeking a prestigious headquarters in Accra.

Globe Tower forms part of Cantonments City, Ghana’s first branded mixed-use enclave, which combines commercial, residential, leisure and green spaces within an integrated live-work environment.

The enclave currently accommodates Grade A office buildings and supports more than 2,000 people working in the district each day. It also provides more than 1,200 secure parking bays, alongside continuous power and water supply, security, ambulance services and professional property management.

Residents, workers and visitors also have access to dining and leisure facilities as well as a landscaped green park within the enclave. According to Goldkey Properties, the development’s environmentally conscious design is aimed at helping to reduce operating costs and carbon emissions while providing a high-quality working environment.

Goldkey Properties, a wholly Ghanaian-owned real estate developer established in 1997, is a member of the CH Group. The company says it has delivered more than 300,000 square metres of residential and commercial space and developed eight Grade A buildings across Cantonments City.

Its portfolio includes buildings occupied by major companies such as EY, PwC, Huawei and Vivo Energy, while the company has received various international, continental and national awards for its developments.

As part of the CH Group, whose interests span energy, financial services and real estate, Goldkey says it combines institutional-grade development capabilities with extensive resources and professional services.

With completion scheduled for 2027, only a limited number of floors at Globe Tower are currently available for lease. Prospective tenants can contact Goldkey Properties on 055 588 7777 or 055 588 7799 to discuss leasing opportunities or arrange a private viewing.
