Friends of Julius Debrah have donated food items and assorted beverages to inmates of the Kumasi Children’s Home to mark the 60th birthday of Mr. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff.

The donated items included cartons of bottled mineral water, 10 bags of rice, five boxes of Tasty Tom tomato paste, six gallons of cooking oil, five boxes of biscuits, dozens of toiletries, three bags of sugar, 10 boxes of Tampico, two cartons of Milo, five packs of Indomie and a truckload of sachet water.

Mr. Osman Nabali, Ashanti Regional Coordinator of Friends of Julius Debrah, presented the items to the inmates on behalf of Mr. Debrah.

He noted that as the Chief of Staff celebrates his 60th birthday, it was appropriate for the group to show love and generosity to the needy in society.

According to Mr. Nabali, the gesture is meant to highlight Mr. Debrah’s good works and kind-hearted nature, so that young people can emulate his example and legacy.

He described the Chief of Staff as humble, down-to-earth, and always ready to support anyone in need, adding that his character deserves emulation having served under former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Evans Atta Mills, and his current role as Chief of Staff to President John DramaniMahama.

He stressed that Mr. Debrah is “ready and fit for purpose,” adding that the group was persuading him to accept and contest the NDC flagbearership for the 2028 general elections.

Receiving the items, Mrs. Mabel Amponsah, Manageress of the Kumasi Children’s Home, expressed profound gratitude to Friends of Julius Debrah and the Chief of Staff for the kind gesture.

She said the items had come at the right time and would go a long way to support the upkeep of the inmates.

MrsAmponsah prayed for God’s blessings, long life, and wisdom for MrDebrah to continue supporting President John DramaniMahama and his government to make the country a better place for all Ghanaians.
