Rapper Kojo Cue has opened up about what he believes is an underrated aspect of his craft, revealing that his ability to deliver love-themed rap verses is often overlooked.

Speaking on Angel FM, he expressed confidence in his unique style and lyrical strength, saying, “One thing I feel like I don’t get enough credit for is how great I am at making love rap verses.”

He noted that his inspiration comes from artists he admires who excelled in similar themes.

“I am very proud of that because my idols were very good at that also.”

Extending an open invitation to fellow musicians, he added:

“If any artiste has any love song, they should bring it; I will work on it beautifully.”

Kojo Cue also shared a different perspective on success in the music industry, stating that global recognition is not his primary goal.

“I am one of those people who is not even excited about winning a GRAMMY, but rather pray for selling one billion records or selling out the O2.”

Referencing Grammy Awards, he acknowledged its significance but maintained that his focus lies elsewhere.

“The GRAMMY is important because that is what holds the industry together and is one of the ranks people aim for to push themselves.”

However, he emphasized that his true motivation is the impact of his music on listeners.

“I am interested in what the music does for the people.”
