“After spending 178 days aboard the international space station, astronaut Ron Garan returned to earth. From orbit, Earth doesn’t look like a collection of countries, borders or competing interests. It appears as a single, radiant blue sphere suspended in darkness. No lines divide continents.

No flags mark territory.. from orbit pollution has no nationality. Climate systems ignore borders. Environmental damage in one region ripples across the entire globe. The divisions we defend so fiercely on the ground don’t exist from above” – David Attenborough.

It was on July 16, 1969 that Neil Armstrong landed on the Moon. The exact time was 02:56 GMT19 minutes later, Buzz Aldrin joined Neil, and together they walked on the Moon for two hours. The peculiar way they walked on the Moon attracted musicians and dancers to compose the moon song and glide the moon dance. The song “Moonshadow” by Cat Stevens and Beabadoobee popped up later. Michael Jackson typified the moon walk dance.

The Americans had launched various missions code-named Apollo (1–10) until Apollo 11 successfully landed on the Moon from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.

The crew left an American flag and a plaque which read: “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon July 1969 AD. We came in peace for all mankind.”

In that era of fierce political competition between US (and Allies) and the Soviet Union, no one wanted to be outdone. On April 12, 1961, the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin had been in space (being the first man to be in space), and before Congress President Kennedy said on May 25, 1961, “…the U.S.

should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth… We choose to go to the Moon… we choose to go to the Moon this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organise and measure our energies and skills…”

When President Kennedy met Nikita Khruschev, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and proposed to him: “Together let us explore the stars”, Khruschev declined the offer.

After 50 years of intensive research, as well as trial-and-error, Artemis II was launched putting the Orion spacecraft onto space on April 1, 2026. It was to last 10 days. On board the spacecraft were: Reid Wiseman, Commander of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), Victor Glover, an American pilot and the first black man to fly in space, Christina Hammock Koch, a female electrical engineer, and Jeremy Hansen, a former Canadian Air Force fighter pilot.

At Houston Press conference, the M.C. noted; ‘The flight was: “… risky … adventurous” Reid demented: “We’re bonded forever…” It was not easy. When you’re up there … you’d wish to be back with your families. Glover: “The things we saw bonded us.

Kristina; remarked “ A crew … together for the same purpose … same cares and same needs … when we saw tiny earth … the blackness… earth was just a tiny … I may not have learnt. … one earth … one thing I learnt is that you are a crew. Hansen said: “..gratitude for the bravery of the team, a lot of joy … meaningful contribution … we’re a mirror reflecting you… (the audience) …”

While America was spending millions of dollars doing research, and thinking of going to the moon and of setting foot thereon, what were Africans doing? Bread and butter issues. Not only that: prophets and prophecies (Death… agony… doom and gloom). And politicians would throw caution to the winds, and grab all the countries weath!

Apostle Clement saw in a dream Owusu Bempah crying and all hands were pointing at him. Owusu Bempah’s powers are deserting him, say another, and Dr. (PhD in what?) Bombay would blurt out: “…the grace on Owusu Bempah has been removed. And why target Owusu Bempah? Answer: so that Owusu Bempah’s “boys” would respond, and thereby the new “entrants” would “trend”.

Prophet Agradaa would enjoy a reprieve of her 15-year-old jail term. She must be grateful to God for doing 6,666% of her prison term. Our expectation is that she would keep quiet and demonstrate to the world that she is a changed person, but will she? Awurade ngɔɔra agu ne so, so she is now better-placed to respond to accusations against her.

And you see an innocent 5-month old baby somewhere around Bibiani going to be buried alive! Her mother had been told that the child had died, by the Prophet who had sought permission from the traditional authorities to bury her on their soil. Better to do it at midnight… Is it voodoo or fetish? And did the people (including the pastor) have the same human feeling as we do.

And an innocent Berekum Chelsea team returning home after a match somewhere was attacked by armed robbers who fled into the bush… And we would keep on lamenting… Africa, Africa until we see “World Meets-in-Ghana” to honour Asantehene as Pillar of Peace.

The event is intended to honour and highlight Otumfuo’s distinguished legacy in promoting peace, diplomacy, cultural exchange and economic development in Ghana and beyond… reports one daily newspaper.

The EON 3 Group organising this event is said to be done in collaboration with the Manhyia Palace, KGL Group and the Diaspora Affairs Office of the Office of the President. Other collaborators include Commonwealth Secretariat, the Bank of Ghana (BoG), the Multi Bank Group – Dubai, the African Gold Market Association.

We also have Devsrag (crossed out), Typhoon Greenfield and Ghana Link. We also have Devprag Tokenization LLC – Dubai, Stratcom Energy, Ghana Gold Board, Gold Coast Refinery, Dawark Gold Refinery, Caveman, Popo Global Investment, Access Bank Ghana PLC, Emirates Gold – DMCC and Touch of Bronze.

On Friday, April 24, 2026 we hope to see the General Secretary of the Commonwealth, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey (Guest of Honour) as well as Olu of Warri Kingdom of Nigeria, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and the Queen Consort of the Kingdom, Olori Atuwatse III to be at the Manhyia Palace. Welcome, Akwaaba, woezor, oolemor (sorry, if we have misspelt any word).

But we cannot forgive anyone who is so naïve, subservient and gulible that he/she would take a “prophet’s” instruction to eat grass like a cow, as it happed in South Africa!
