Kanye West is reveling in Kim Kardashian‘s failures, according to a source.
“Right when they got divorced, Kanye told everyone who’d listen that Kim would sink without his genius, and now he’s bragging he’s been proven right,” a source tells Globe, referring to how the 45-year-old reality TV star’s new Hulu show All’s Fair has been met with poor reviews, and how she failed the California State Bar exam.
“Kim’s learned to ignore Kanye’s malicious rants, but it all gets back to her, in part because he tells people he knows will run straight back and inform her,” the source explains.
As far as the Skims founder’s acting career is concerned, the source says, “It goes without saying Kim’s very upset” about the reviews of her legal drama, but notes, “She’s determined to bounce back and do her thing with acting roles, despite this disappointment and whatever Kanye says.”
The source also reveals the “Gold Digger” hitmaker, 48, is “confident” his new wife Bianca Censori‘s upcoming fashion line — launching December 11 according to the brand’s website — “will be an instant success while leaving Skims trailing in their wake.”
The Grammy winner and the businesswoman — who share kids North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — tied the knot in 2014. However, in 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce.
As Globe previously reported, it appears the former couple is not in direct contact. Last month, The Kardashians star appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and revealed it had “been a couple months” since she or the kids “heard from him.” Kardashian also said that she raises the kids “full-time.”
