350 Ahafo Ano North farmers equipped with employable skills

About 350 farmers in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency have undergone training in bee keeping, pastries, detergents and soap making.

The training programme was put together by Mr. Kwaku Fosu Frimpong, a business consultant in Finance and Operations, to enable them earn more to supplement their incomes from their farming activities.

The objective of his benevolence is to bring hope and build the Ahafo Ano North Constituency in unity towards the 2024 elections.

Mr. Fosu Frimpong said 50 of the beneficiaries had been selected to access a total of GH¢50,000 to expand their trading activities.

He said 1,000 constituents, including 720 delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be drawn from three zones in the District, were also to undergo a similar training programme in October this year.

The benefactor disclosed that he had engaged 15 persons in rice and maize farming on a large scale, fish farming, and vegetables (tomato and pepper) cultivation.

A second phase of the farming scheme would engage a further 100 beneficiaries.
