Tuobodom chief gazetted by bono east regional house of chiefs

The Paramount Chief of Tuobodom Traditional area in the Bono East Region, Nana Agyei KokooTakyi Firi Beyeaman I has finally been gazetted by the Regional House of Chiefs at Techiman.

The President of Bono East Regional House of Chiefs, Pemampem Yaw Kabrese IV, at the Annual Conference of the House last week, appealed to the Chief of Tuobodom to use his rich experience to help build a solid and united House of Chiefs by accommodating  all and sundry in the pursuit of lasting peace in the area.

He also appealed to the Tuobodom Chief to help resolve the numerous chieftaincy disputes in the region to redeem the sinking image of the chieftaincy institution.

Nana Agyei KokooTakyiFiriBeyeaman thanked the President and members of the House of Chiefs and assured them of his support  to make the chieftaincy institution big and great.

The chief reaffirmed his support to help build the chieftaincy institution to the highest level to regain its glory.

He mentioned that his vision is to develop the youth in his area by engaging them in profitable ventures and help reduce social vices towards ensuring a secured future for them.

Nana Beyeaman, however, cautioned the youth to avoid indulging in habits like alcoholism, smoking and robbery, among others stressing that beneficial to the community at large.

The Chief also appealed to investors to invest in the area assuring that Land is not a problem once they proved to be genuine investors.

He said the Traditional council was prepared to partner with investors to provide jobs for the youth on the area.

Nana Agyei KokooTakyiFiriBeyeaman I reminded prospective investors that Tuobodom as a farming community noted for tomatoes growing would appreciate the setting up of a factory to utilise the raw material.

He mentioned that promotion of education was his priority and urged parents to take advantage of the free JHS to get their children to school.
