Stonebwoy organises free skills training workshop at Ashaiman
Dancehall music star, Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, has held a free skills training workshop for the people of Ashaiman in the Greater Accra region. The skills training workshop, organised through Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation, took place last week.
Dubbed ‘BHIM SKILLS’, the workshop saw participants being trained in various areas of self-employment. Some of the areas included in the training were small scale farming, agro and food processing, fashion design, accessories production, and cosmetic and detergents production, among others.
Videos from the training workshop show Stonebwoy, his wife, Dr Louisa Satekla and their team participating in the events. Addressing the participants, Stonebwoy proclaimed that in these times, when people are losing their jobs because of COVID-19, it has become important to learn other skills to be able to make ends meet.
It is because of this that his foundation partnered Unity Link and others to bring experts to train them so they could become self-employed.
Stonebwoy thus urged participants to take full advantage of the training in order to better their lives. He went around to check some of the products the participants had produced after their training.
