King Faisal’s midfielder, Samuel Antwi’s goal made it a sweet win for Jimmy Cobblah’s team after scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Tamale City in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The season’s woes continued for Coach Hamza Mohammed and his Tamale City as they succumbed to the defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium in match-day 13.
It was an afternoon full of scintillating soccer display by the youthful players of both teams – with King Faisal creating and blowing up the best scoring opportunities, as Tamale City defense stood tall to absorb the pressure till they got stunned by just a goal.
Midfielder Samuel Antwi’s 45th minute goal courtesy of a defensive blunder on the part of the visiting Citizens was all the ‘Insha Allah’ boys needed to seize all three points as they moved to 12th position on 17 points, whilst Tamale City stay in relegation zone with 11 points.
