Politicians must stop using youth to cause violence -Dunkwahene
The Chief of Dunkwa- on-Offin in the Central Region, Okofrobour Obeng Nuakoh III, has urged politicians to stop using the youth to cause political violence wherever we are in an election year.
According to Nana Nuakoh, the youth are the future leaders and should not be used as tools for destruction and confusion.
He said what is good for the children of politicians must be seen to be good for any ordinary member of the youth whose right must not be trampled upon.
Speaking at the Akwasidae Festival at the weekend, the Chief also advised politicians to avoid politics of insults which can lead to violence and disrupt the smooth development of the area.
The Dunkwahene noted that the people of Upper Denkyira East Constituency have benefited from the President’s declaration of 2020 as the ‘Year of Roads’ in the first phase of 10.6 kilometres, while 15 kilometre of roads are ongoing.
