Rocky Dawuni gets 2022 grammys nomination

Rocky Dawuni, a Ghanaian Reggae Artiste has had nomination for the 64th edition of theGrammys awards.

The Grammys released nominations on Tuesday 23rd November from the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, USA via a virtual stream.

Rocky Dawuni with his ‘Vice of Bunbon, Vol 1’ album was nominated for the Best Global Music Album category. He faces Daniel Ho and Friends, Angélique Kidjo, Femi Kuti, and Wizkid in that category.

It is Rocky’s second Grammy nomination after his sixth studio album with the first nomination in December 2015.

The 2022 Grammy Awards will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Rocky Dawuni is famous for his signature ‘Afro Roots’ songs which is a mixture of Reggae, Afrobeat, Highlife and Soul Music.

Rocky Dawuni is best known around the world as a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and record producer.
