MP lauds Nana Addo for fixing bad roads in his constituency

Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie, has thanked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and COCOBOD for fixing bad roads in his constituency.

The MP is enthused about the government and COCOBOD collaboration to fix the road networks in Dunkwa and other parts in Upper Denkyira East, following complaints he personally lodged.

According to Dr.Kwofie, the road from Dunkwa to Obuasi and the Dunkwa-Ayanfuri roads have been completed, whilst the Dunkwa-Kyekyewere, Esaase-OpponsoKyebi, Dunkwa- Pokukrom, Asikuma-Meretweso-Akyease roads, Kramokrom-Abudu and Kona road, and Dunkwa town roads are currently under construction.

He also commended contractors working on the Asikuma-Meretweso road for doing a very great job and hoped they would work efficiently and finish on time.

The MP urged the constituents to reciprocate the efforts of the government to bring development to their doorsteps and retain the ruling government in power to continue raising their standard of living.

Nana Bosompem Ntow, Chief of Denkyira Asikuma and Denkyira Wirempim advised the inhabitants to co-operate with the contractors to finish their road construction.

Mr. Felix Yeboah, the contractor on the Asikuma-Meretweso road, assured that 12 kilometres awarded under the Cocoa roads would be completed on schedule.
