Labour minister involved in accident
The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations and the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West in the Bono Region, Mr Ignatius Baffour Awuah has been involved in an accident.
The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the Sunyani-Nsoatre road, when the minister’s vehicle crashed into a tipper truck.
The Minister’s driver is said to have attempted to overtake the truck, which also moved into the left lane just ahead of the minister’s vehicle.
Mr Baffour Awuah and five other occupants of the vehicle have been rushed to the Bono Regional Hospital in Sunyani.
The Minister was in the company of the NPP Charmain for Sunyani West Constituency, Mr Kusi Boadum and three of his aids. When The Chronicle got to the hospital, Mr Baffour Awuah had been attended to by the doctors and was in stable condition.
