‘I care for Ghana’ group formed to rebuild Ghana

Prophet Kofi Amponsah

The founder and leader of the House of Ezra Worldwide Ministry, Prophet John Wesley Kofi Amponsah, has initiated a huge national effort towards rebuilding Ghana.

He has formed “I care for Ghana” group to mobilise Ghanaians to make concrete inputs towards rebuilding Ghana.

The vision is to create awareness and promote patriotism and nationalism and also arouse the conscience of Ghanaians to contribute their quota to development.

The group, which intends to embark on a nationwide membership drive across the 16 regions of Ghana and around the globe to mobilise Ghanaians, also seeks to fight against corruption of all forms.

Launching the group last Sunday at the premises of Anita Hotel at Ejisu, Prophet Kofi Amponsah, emphasised that it is a non partisan group and that it would remain neutral in carrying out its activities towards its objective of building a prosperous and peaceful nation.

The man of God explained that “l care for Ghana” also seeks to rekindle communal spirit among the citizenry and hoped the initiative would help traditional leaders and the local government system contribute to improving the lot of the people.

“It is time for all hands on deck to move the nation forward”, Prophet Kofi Amponsah stressed.

He accused delegates of being the cause of the woes of Ghana for the fact that they allow themselves to be influenced to choose people who do not deserve leadership positions.

The leader of House of Ezra Ministry cautioned delegates to be patriotic enough to avoid the mistake and temptation of monetary influence in subsequent elections to choose right people to make informed decisions to improve the lot of Ghanaians.

Prophet Kofi Amponsah also called on pastors to wake up from their slumber and actively get involved in rebuilding the nation.

According to him, his vision is inspired by the fact that Ghanaian pastors and church leaders have assigned nation building and development to politicians and government at the expense of the welfare of the people.

He emphasised that “we are all to blame for the prevailing situation and therefore, all Ghanaians must be willing to be part of the solution to the problems”.

The Prophet cum musician has committed seed money of $20,000 to grow the concept and called on all Ghanaians to put their shoulders to the wheel of Nation building and move the country forward.

Mr.Nsiah Yeboah, a Kumasi-based building contractor is the National chairman of “l care for Ghana” group.

Other executives of the group are Elder Kwaku Yeboah, National Organiser; Her Lordship Nana Asantewaa Attakorah, Treasurer and Madam Janet, General Secretary.

Meanwhile, Mr. Christopher Owusu Marfo, alias Ghanaians, the National Peace Walker, has called for support for Prophet Amponsah’s “Big vision” which he described as a divine intervention.
