Ghana Post delivers Vals Day presents to Lady Julia, other prominent women in Kumasi

The Ghana Post Company Limited marked this year’s Valentine Day presenting gifts to renowned women in Kumasi in a two-day special novelle delivery package.

The special delivery team comprising GP management team and Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi aka Dr. Likee and Matilda Asare (Kumawood stars) were led by the Managing Director of Ghana Post Company Limited, Mr. Bice Obour Osei Kuffour.

The team delivered a giant portrait and other gifts to Lady Julia, wife of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

Mr. Osei Kuffour and his team also visited the Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Prof. Mrs. Akosua Dickson, who also received a portrait and Vals Day goodies, including chocolate and cakes.

Other recipients of the Vals Day presents from Ghana Post were the Ejisuhemaa, Nana Yaa Asantewaa II, the Asante Mamponghemaa, Nana Agyakomaa Difie, Nana Akua Amako, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite’s Mother.

Prof. Mrs. Akosua Dickson, who was deeply moved by the surprise visit, congratulated Ghana Post for the breakthrough, and thanked the Management of Ghana Post for the recognition and honour.

She advised the management to go into technology and improve the quality of its services.

She acknowledged the role of Ghana Post in the sale of KNUST admissions forms, thus bridging the gap between the public and the university.

The Ejisuhemaa, Nana Yaa Asantewaa II, on her part, thanked Ghana Post and hoped the MD would not rest on his oars to make the company a leading institution in the country.

An elated 95-year-old Nana Akua Amako, alias Maa Ako, was overjoyed with the visit and Valentine cake, and thanked Ghana Post for the gesture.

The Asante Mamponghemaa, Nana Agyakomaa Difie, asked God’s blessing for Mr. Osei Kuffour, the management and staff of Ghana Post.

Presenting the items, Mr. Osei Kuffour said the special presentation and delivery formed part of Ghana Post’s innovative Vals Wheels for 2023.

He emphasised the position of Ghana Post to bring a new face in the discharge of its core mandate through technology, and called on the general public to patronise the company’s services.

Mr. Bice Obour Osei Kuffour was accompanied by Mr. Johnson Asante, Head of the Northern sector of Ghana Post Company Limited.
