Dreams edge past RTU to return to winning ways

Dreams spirited second half performance powered them to a resounding 3-1 win over RTU at the Theater of Dreams Park in Dawu in match-week 13 of the Ghana Premier League.

Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored with a sumptuous header to put Dreams FC in front.

The goal served as a wakeup call for Real Tamale United who quickly got themselves back into the game and started pushing the leveller.

Just five minutes after going down, the visitors restored parity through Issah Kuka. In the second half, the ‘Still Believe’ lads ain’t relaxing anytime soon as they kept on piling up so much pressure on their guests as they look to reclaim the lead.

Agyenim Boateng once again combined with Huzaif Ali to send a belter but was dealt with nicely by goalkeeper Lukman Sherif.

The hosts were awarded a penalty on the 85th penalty after substitute Wisdom Yevu was brought down in the box. Agyenim Boateng took responsibility and scored to get the back in front.

Another substitute in the person of Ali Huzaif conjured another magic to score on the 87th minute to make it 3-1.
